Project Description

In Kosovo, heating of facilities comprise around 70 % of the overall thermal energy consumption. This project focuses on the improvement of heating, lighting and thermal insulation in municipal public buildings. It will help reduce Kosovo energy expenditure and improve living standards, particularly in schools and health centres.

The WBIF has provided grant support for the preparation of the feasibility study as well as to support the implementation of selected energy efficiency measures. The latter are currently ongoing in four municipalities.
