Wastewater and Water Supply Systems Improvement for Kolasin, Rozaje and Mojkovac

Project Description

This project concerns investments in wastewater and water supply compliant with EU standards in three municipalities in the north of Montenegro: 

1) upgrade of the water supply system in Kolašin, 

2) construction of two wastewater treatment plants and sewerage networks in Kolašin and Rožaje, and

3) extension and upgrade of the sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant in Mojkovac. 

These investments will bring sustainable water services to 29,250 residents, improve environmental services and enhance the region’s attractiveness for tourism.

The EU co-funds the project under Flagship 7 - Waste and wastewater management - of the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans through the WBIF.
